When my husband and I moved to New York over 6 years ago, we fell in love with our neighborhood Gramercy Park. Each day, I would walk my dogs around the park and gaze up into the windows of the National Arts Club where I would see artists at work. I dreamed that someday I might find some time to create art again and become a member. I pictured myself in the window working. The opportunity to open a studio in the iconic mansion was quite literally a dream come true. I am grateful that I get to create here, where so many incredible individuals and artists have gathered throughout history. This storied building gives me daily inspiration.
