WHO OR WHAT MADE YOU A MOM?

Becoming a mom wasn’t an easy journey for me. I didn’t become a mom the day my daughter was born. I became a mom the moment I decided I was ready and committed to fighting for that role. I fought incredibly hard for my eldest daughter, and that experience shaped me in ways nothing else could. It taught me resilience, patience, and a depth of love I didn’t know was possible.

A RECENT BIG LITTLE MOMENT…

Dance parties with my girls are my absolute favorite. No matter what kind of day I’ve had, dancing with them instantly lifts my mood and reminds me to be present. Lately, we’ve been dancing to classics like ‘Girls Just Want to Have Fun.’

DAILY RITUAL?

My daily ritual is making myself a big iced coffee and then sitting in my bathroom with the door shut while I do my makeup. It’s my one quiet, zen moment to mentally prepare for the day. I usually have some fun music playing too! It helps me reset and start the day grounded and energized.

THE ADVICE YOU DIDN’T TAKE

I am glad that I didn't take the advice that motherhood should mean losing myself. Taking care of me and being successful in my career has helped me show up healthier and happier for my girls.

THE ADVICE YOU NOW GIVE

Listen to your instincts, not the noise. There will always be opinions, expectations, and outside voices telling you how motherhood should look. Learning to quiet that noise and trust your inner voice allows you to make decisions that are truly right for you and your children.

YOUR WISH FOR EVERY MOM

My wish for every mom is that she gives herself grace. I hope she trusts her instincts, tries not to be perfect, and knows that she is enough. Motherhood is really tough, and every mom deserves to feel confident, supported, and proud of the love she gives her children.
